Nominees must meet or exceed the following criteria:
The nominee will have offered a long-term and consistent commitment to the AIDS movement within Ontario.
The nominee will have demonstrated the principles outlined in the award descriptions throughout the province or within their local community impacting on the broader community at-large.
The nominee will have demonstrated and symbolized a sense of courage and strength in the face of challenge, an ability to work with adversity and adapt to diversity and inspire those around him/her to same.
The nominee may be living or deceased, a current or former volunteer, activist, staff person, Board member and/or care giver within the AIDS movement in Ontario who has met the standards outlined in the award for which they are being nominated.
The nominee will be or have been a resident of Ontario during the period for which their achievements are recognized.
Nominees will also be evaluated against the following criteria:
Impact: local, regional, provincial, national and international influence will be. assessed with an emphasis on provincial effect
Resilience: ability to survive and grow in the face of adversity Risk: sacrifice and growth Resources: efficient use of time, energy, money and community Leadership,Cooperation and Partnerships Innovation:development of creative solutions and best practices
