Adding Life to Years
An Online Course on HIV and Depression for
Community-Based AIDS Service Organizations

While antiretroviral therapies have added years to the lives of people with HIV/AIDS (PHAs), high rates of depression are limiting their ability to enjoy those years.

This free, online course is designed to help AIDS service organization staff to equip themselves to recognize and support the needs of PHAs suffering from depression.

Adding Life to Years is designed primarily for:

  • Front-line community support workers

It can also benefit:

  • PHAs who want to learn more about depression and ways of coping
  • Executive Directors, educators and planners in ASOs, to help guide staff training, PHA support services and awareness programs
  • Community mental health providers and addictions counselors who want to know more about HIV
