The Ontario AIDS Network Honour Roll Awards were created in 1996. They are conferred annually each year at a gala awards ceremony.
Over the past 12 years they have become Ontario’s most respected awards for HIV/AIDS work within the Province.
In 2004 the Social Justice in HIV/AIDS Award was created and presented to its first recipient, Ms. June Callwood, by Ontario’s Minister of Health and Long Term Care, the Honourable George Smitherman.
